Year Round Jr Golf Program

2012 Ever-Incredible “Year Round” Junior Golf Program

Begins January 16th and runs thru November 6th.

The ages for this program is 7-14

 

Introducing the Saturday Morning Junior Golf Program at Sunset Whitney GC

Starts February 11th through March 31st, 2012

Program runs 8 straight weeks

  • 7 – 9 year olds at 10:15 am
  • 10 & older start at 11:15 am

All classes are 50 minutes.

Hats, bag tags, work books and fun will be provided to all Junior Golfers.

Cost: $140 per Junior, family discounts to 3 or more.

February 11th, 18th, 25th, March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st.

 

 

Spring Session, January 16th – April 17th, 2012

        Cost $125 includes:

  • U.S. Kids Booklet
  • Logo Bag Tag
  • Logo Hat
  • Lots of Fun
  • Achievement Pins
  • 7, 1-hour “fun clinics”

All clinics on alternating weeks (not every week)

Ages 7-10…Clinic dates: 1/16, 1/30, 2/13, 2/27, 3/12, 3/26, 4/16

Ages 11-14…Clinic dates: 1/17, 1/31, 2/14, 2/28, 3/13, 3/27, 4/17

 

Summer Session, April 30th – July 16th, 2012

  Cost: $125 includes:

Payable by 1/31/12………..$550 if paid by 12/20/11

 

2012 Sunset Whitney Golf Club Junior Golf Overview:

  • Youngster Golf (Ages 4 – 6) Clinics are Mondays @ 3:30
  • Ages 7 – 10, Clinics are Mondays @ 4:30
  • Ages 11 – 14, Clinics are Tuesdays @ 4:30

Levels include:

  • Putting
  • Around the Green (Chipping)
  • Full Swing
  • Knowledge
  • Scoring

To provide players with incentives to advance through the levels, achievement pins are earned each time a section of the booklet is completed.

Parents with more than one child in a different age group may bring them on the same day if you so desire. (Exception: Youngster Golf)

  • April 2nd – 5th Spring Break Junior Golf Camp, 9:00 – 12:00, Cost: $125
  • June 11th – 14th, Summer Junior Golf Camp Session I, 9:30 – 12:30, Cost: $125
  • July 9th – 12th, Summer Junior Golf Camp Session II, 8:00 – 11:00, Cost $125
  • August 6th – 9th, Summer Junior Golf Camp Session III, 12:30 – 3:30, Cost $125
  • Thanksgiving Week 3-Day Camp (Mon – Wed) 10:00 – 12:30, Cost: 100.

PGA Director of Instruction, Mike Huetter will teach all clinics and monitor all skills testing
