Challenge by Design
Designed by renowned architect William Bell in 1963, Sunset Whitney encompasses many of the strategic features found in his more famous creations such as Torrey Pines, Industry Hills, and Bermuda Dunes.  Bell delivers playability off the tee but adds increasing difficulty as you approach the well bunkered green complexes.  Perfectly manicured greens with multiple contours will challenge the best of players and will provide a true test of skill.  The creative routing gives a variety of shot making opportunities with a "new look" on every hole.  Rolling fairways, ample hazards and well-bunkered greens require top players to use every club in their bag. The great greens combined with the interesting, beautiful and varying layout make the course continually fun and challenging for all players.
